When: March 26th, 2017, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm
Where: Nathaniel Felton, Sr. House, 47 Felton St., Peabody, MA 01960
Just in time for women’s history month, we explore the lives of four Peabody women. What experiences and challenges did women in Peabody face throughout our history? What can we learn from the women of the past?
Join us in exploring the answers to these questions, and more, as we examine the lives of four Peabody women: Elizabeth Whitman, Mary Ophelia Stevens, Martha Osborne Barrett, and Bessie Buxton.
This exhibit is also open to the public during our 2017 Mini Quilt Challenge, on April 1st and 2nd.
The 2017 Mini Quilt Challenge quilters have created quilts inspired by the women of Peabody, to compliment the museum exhibit.
